TINY BITES

This project used the Grow & Go Toolbox as part of it's development and delivery. Partnering with health professionals at the University of Queensland and Deakin University, this project aimed to support parents, carers, and Early Childcare (ECEC) services in implementing the Australian Infant Feeding Guidelines and recommended infant feeding practices. Through the research's duration, parents are delivered resources through text messages and newsletters.

My role in this project was focused on the user experience for the parents participating in the study, designing a website branding, landing page, and various resources integral to the study's success. This project leveraged my knowledge of our consumers' needs to apply those key principles to the resources I developed under the Tiny Bites brand.

USER EXPERIENCE

As the delivery of information throughout the study was procedural and dependent on the child's age, a 'hub' website was needed where parents could access everything they had received without having to dig through text messages and emails.

After discussing various approaches to the web design, it was decided that using The lumpy road to solids, a tool developed in the Grow & Go Toolbox, would be the perfect starting off point for this project.

Though many changes were made to address the needs of this research, the foundations of the Lumpy Road to Solids are still very present on the Tiny Bites page.

Similarly to the Grow & Go Toolbox, printable resources that were engaging for parents and their children were also needed.

As this study is still on-going, the platform is not accessible externally. A test link, not connected to the research analytics can be provided on request.

BRANDING

This brand had to be visually connected to the Grow & Go Toolbox but still be unique and individually identifiable.
